A portrait is defined by the essence of the subject in a particular instant. As a portrait photographer, my purpose is to reveal this presence in its most pure and genuine expression, transcending visual identity preconceptions.
A portrait is defined by the essence of the subject in that precise moment. There’s always something in me that resonates with everyone sharing their presence with me, and that is what triggers my creative process.
I start from getting to know the person and understanding their motivation, what is the intention spark, the authentic purpose of the portrait. This may seem obvious some times, but it’s not always in the surface. Once we got this, producing and shooting will be easy, fun and effective.
